Overview

Our BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics Program has a duration of 4 years, is taught in English, and offers a supportive learning environment of small class sizes, excellent professors, and academic and extra-curricular support services for international students (Careers Services, International Office, Counselling, Student Clubs, Office of Learning and Teaching and more).

Koç University’s students in the Molecular Biology and Genetics program take classes that provide fundamental knowledge of the different branches of biology. These courses include biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, and developmental biology.

The Molecular Biology and Genetics program also offers various elective courses for advanced students who wish to focus on specific areas, such as cancer biology, neuroscience, proteomics, and bioinformatics.
