Overview

Our BSc in Physics program has a duration of 4 years, is taught in English, and offers a supportive learning environment of small class sizes, excellent professors, and academic and extra-curricular support services for international students (Careers Services, International Office, Counselling, Student Clubs, Office of Learning and Teaching and more).

Every year, very few highly qualified students are admitted to our department. In general accordance with the liberal arts educational philosophy of Koç University, our program offers our graduates a solid physics background and prepares them with a broad knowledge base to follow up careers in various related disciplines.

In addition to the area courses, we also offer independent study courses where the student works closely with a faculty member on a research project to develop research skills.

Opportunities in theoretical and experimental research include:

Career opportunities

A great majority of our graduates are accepted to the Ph.D. programs of leading U.S. universities with full scholarships. Others find jobs in R&D and QC laboratories, production, sales and marketing departments of industrial companies.
